Wow, this is more like an anatomy of twitter. very nice points and the rationale behind each component of twitter is well explained.

I’ve always thought that having many tweets would mean additional links to my site, so I kind of started doing it a long time ago.

But really, this article is just comprehensive.. nicely done.

Good point! But I was saving those for a more detailed post about Twitter and SEO. You should place your main keyword after your link with a hashtag. So http://MyLink.com #MyKeyword. As with all links, it makes it easier to read for humans if you capitalise the constituent words.

Hey Debbie, I’m just trying to get to grips with Twitter Lists to try to filter my home stream which can become very clogged. But I have a sufficiently large number of followers to make this quite a daunting task. If I had 10,000, it would definitely make me think twice

For me the key thing when using Twitter is knowing how to keep track of it all. There’s so many tweets. some of the tools included here certainly make it easier.
