Use CPanel to Filter Email Spam

One of the downsides of having your email address visible on your website is that you are likely to become a victim of email spam.

Even if you take the trouble to only use it as part of a graphic on the front page, if you want to have a good ‘Contact Us’ page, it should really show that email as well as offering the option of a contact form.

This means that spammers will eventually find it and start sending you little missives with embarrassing titles that you might not want any visiting customers to see.

Here’s a nifty way to circumvent the problem.

If you use Outlook, you can do the same thing there instead – see this handy tutorial about applying spam filters in Outlook
